Biography

The mesmerizing energy found within Bob’s deeply personal and vibrant pieces is fuelled by experimentation with textures and tools. His works are part of private and corporate collections in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. His newest works are unique, one-of-a-kind sculptures called TEDD - Thankful Every Damn Day - the acronym Bob chose for his hand-painted gratitude bears. The TEDDs, offer collectors an opportunity to discover a new medium and explore the changing and textured palette of the artist. Bob’s painting style is testament to the vast and varied genres he is constantly exploring. Pop art, thick and juicy acrylics done with a palette knife, tactile mixed media that begs to be touched and dreamy abstract scapes draw collectors from around the world. Born in the Netherlands and currently living in Canada, Bob pursues his true creative passion through art and uses his left brain to run a successful communications and branding firm. He can often be found with three very large dogs in tow.
