Troy Payne-Le Pessec

Biography

Born to young parents in 1993 and raised in Montreal, he has been creating for as long as he can remember. At the age of eight, he sold his first canvas through a local skate shop.

Growing up, creative expression became a source of stability during often unpredictable times. His upbringing was somewhat atypical, allowing him to witness Montreal’s underbelly and its inhabitants from a unique perspective.

Art allows him to transform the challenges and experiences he has accumulated over the years. It serves as both a process of reflection and a way of bringing joy into his life. His philosophy is rooted in experimentation—working across as many mediums and subjects as possible, with the belief that inspiration can be found in anything and everything.
